Oh no, that'll upset the 5C. Stand by for all the reasons why it doesn't count and why we need to prostrate ourselves at Lilly Von Schtupp's feet.

Strange, naomi.

I thought that once we'd left the EU, all the City bankers and brokers were going to up sticks and move to Frankfurt or Paris. I wonder what happened.

//  The LSE had been Europe’s largest stock market for many years before November 2022 when it was overtaken.

Analysts at the time blamed the LSE’s performance on the fallout from former Prime Minister Liz Truss’s mini-Budget //

There will undoubtedly be a change of Conservative leader after the election, we might get another one that crashes the economy. Safer to boot them into opposition.

Yeah funny that judge, I also thought they said that we'd be living on gruel and the occasional gnawed drum stick from the EUSSR table of plenty!

Be careful what you wish for.

It's probably the best the party could hope for.

Meanwhile good to hear the Brexit revenge squad has decided to return to trade in the UK.

And up pops Gromit with his Truss drum!

No one was ever going to up sticks and move to FFT or Paris.

The LSE was top in Europe for a long time, and we dropped to second on the Conservatives' watch. The Conservative party leader and her Chancellor spooked the markets and we dropped behind Paris.
Now that there is a great probability that the Conservatives will soon be replaced, and suddenly we recover our rightful place as top.

The linked to article placed the blame for us dropping to second on Truss and Kwartang. (A bit of an own goal linking to it).
