It's good to get out in parks or in the countryside.

Fresh air, exercise, and the sun on your face.

All good,I'd say.

On what scale ?

I think it helps calm the mind, reduce stress. Whether meditation achieves the same, I'm unsure.

It may be "nice to have" but it's not vitally important as millions of people manage without it by choice or by circumstances.
