How can it be Thursday already?? This week is absolutely flying by! Just spoke to YoungSmow(used to be TeenSmow lol) & they are still waiting for arrival of baby!! Labour is taking  forever to progress - think little one has decided he is far too comfy where he is and has decided to stay put LOL. 
Saw a clip of a Jamie Oliver cookery programme lastnight (don't know if it was old or new) but he got a regular round green lettuce, washed it whilst still whole, in a sep bowl he made up all the dressing etc then dipped the lettuce head in whole bowl then sat it upright on a plate and carefully 'fanned' it open whilst keeping it intact. Looked really good! Then you just ripped off bits as you wanted them lol.

Good morning, We have woken to rain this morning, so no garden sitting for us, Housework it is then . Glad i did the lawns yesterday , I was going to put them off until today.

A little cloudy here but 17C already.
Nothing much on the cards here, maybe a little shopping trip - see how I feel.
Used to have faggots often but not had any in maybe 35/40 years now. Like black pudding, I just don't fancy them.

Love black pudding. Every time I go to my butchers he gives me a few slices to eat while I wait. It used to be scratchings but they are a very rare treat these days, my teeth aren't what they were

Smow, they are a bit like meatballs, but contain abit of offal as well as minced meat - then wapped inn some kind of skin (caul) that is quite fatty.

The caul is the membrane that wraps round the internal organs.  I don't know if Brains still use it but my butcher does.  It usually melts when cooked.
