Split Thumbnail

My thumbnail has split downwards, is there any thing I can use to hold it together till it hopefully grows out? Thankyou for any ideas

I trapped my finger in a steel door and split one nail right the way down. OMG was it painful! I struggled for YEARS, trying to sort it myself. Plasters, superglue, steri- strips, creams etc, then swallowed my pride and went to a nail bar. They put some resin (?) stuff on, waited till it grew out (with regular visits) then I used Working Hands Cream by O'Keefe to put...

I've recommended this to a number of people, including on here.
I've used it for years...it healed a stubborn long term split I had in a thumbnail. Definitely worth a try.

I got it at Chemo ( not that is not a spa) and asked some of the ladies also on chemo
they basically said you were stuck with it,
BUT - steri strip - goes soggy if you do washing up
and I wondered about superglue

With plasters and things, you can't put your hands in water and with the resin you can!
