Brass Screws

Can anyone tell me what size screws I need to fit handles on my internal doors please.

Usually 5mm holes, so use a number 4 screw with a 1" length. In some cases, a 1 and a 1/4 inch length is needed.

Look for:  4X1 or 4x 1 and 1/4

For metric screws it's :  4x25 or 4x30

They are usually provided with the handles. If not, measure the depth of the door (you don't want the points coming all the way through) and take the handles and that information (and a tape measure?) to the hardware store, and ask what fits.

They did come with screws but the heads are spoilt for replacing. 

I'm housebound so needed size to order online
