Not a morning person
14 Answers
Does anyone out there have as much trouble getting up in the mornings as I do? Given half a chance and if I didn't have a conscience, I would stay in bed until lunchtime. The rare occasions when I've been up early have meant that I get loads more done in the mornings, but I just can't seem to see that when I'm tucked up in my pit. Any tips for waking up and feeling wide awake straight away?!

However, at the weekend I am usually up before 9am quite naturally and happily.... I think it's just the reason that I have to wake up that doesn't make me a morning person!

I like getting up early in the morning, gives me more hours during the day... but by early, I mean normal early around 7.30/8am not crazy o' clock like 6am or something!...
To get up early esp in winter, you should drink lots of water at night and meanwhile keep your alarm on loud and far away from your bed. You'll have to get out of bed either way whether to use the washroom or turn alarm off and once you're up, start chugging lots of strong brewed tea/coffee till you get to work.
