They were the best side in the tournement. I am dissapointed but not surprised. We had our moments and I enjoyed the goal and the joy it brought in my club but if I'm honest we were only really in with a shout because of several brilliant saves from Pickford. Could easily have been 4-1. We found a way and got to the final, I'm proud of that, well done guys but we need work to win a major tournament.

I confess to clenching when teacher pops their head round the door while chaos and drivel continue elsewhere.

Anyway, as I don't understand the science of football (🤣) I'll just say that Spain deserved the win and the lack of BS the ref and linesmen had to deal with was refreshing. I take it somebody's had a word with the tattooed knobs about who's running the show. It can happen when professionals with a clear framework, stuck to by all, are in action.

 Yes, well done Spain. This was their fourth win and the most wins of any nation. England had an easy path going through and did not set the world on fire and rode their luck but faced the same old problem in the final, we lack that winning mentality, Spain has it as they punished us at crucial times.
