They did go to every corner of the English-speaking world but nowhere did they find, or expect to find, a social system that would provide for them. They had to make their own way in the world - and they did.
do governments not get it, it's impossible to house all the illegals, let alone the indigenous, not just housing but public services, do they not get it, these treaties need to be torn up or re-written, to make it worse we have no backgrounds on these people, how many are from jihadi groups, murderers rapist etc.
