How do I get rid of this McAfee pop up. Have tried all the google suggestions about extensions etc but nothing seems to work

I trust you have scanned for both virus and the like, and separately for malware ?

Have you installed McAfee for a trial period ? Does it only happen when viewing certain sites ?

I don't believe this is a pop up as such ie it's not a virus or malware. Only becasue I have had 2 new laptops in the last 3 years and both came with a free trial of McAfee which I ignored but it constantly comes up reminding me that it's run out and tries to make me buy it. I asked on here in the past and was told to unisntall it somewhere or other but this only seemed to work temporarily and it rejuvenated itself.

It is very irritating but when it comes up I just push it off the screen.

Thanks for all suggestions folks. Have tried MCPR removal tool but hasn't worked

Not showing in my settings / extensions or programs so can't remove

Is driving me nuts!
