My battery went dead on my remote key, had the battery changed and will not operate to open/lock car. Had battery checked in shop all fine. One remote stil working and i have one normal key. The remot had two button one small to open the other larger to lock or it may b the other way around lol. Peugot say it does not need any code to operate, but there must be something that needs doing. Anyone help me please. many thanks

if you only have 1 key you normally split the key and remote part of the key apart.
but if you have 2 keys you can use one to turn the ignition on, and with the other one (the one that needs coding) you can hold that next to the receiver .
Once ignition is turned on .. press large button then small button within 10 seconds.
That key will then recode.

hi Lee, well i tried it and it didnt work, so went and have the new battery tested but it was fine, they told me it is probably the circuit board inside, and since it going to cost approx 150 i thoughti would leave it. But thank you so much for all your help. Your help was greatly appreciated. Thanks again
