Islam Overload
Has everyone, like myself and all the people I know, heard enough now? Everywhere, the talk is of Islam, which of course is playing right into the hands of extremists, for this is exactly what they want us to do. It's way past the time when we should have pulled up the drawbridge, and let them get on with it.

Tony Blair lets too many in our overpopulated country and i could talk for ages but i cant be assed
I think ALPHIE has lost the plot. Everything we do today is History tomorrow. We have to learn today or it may be too late. Hitler, Saddam, extremists, dead people...for one cause, reason, religion or another etc., etc., let us act as humans together, understanding each others needs and beliefs...and compromise.
Every single day. From the last thing at night, to the first thing in the morning. Throughout the day on every bulletin in every paper. Muslims and Islam. I am tired of it. I am tired of them. Yes, I have heard enough.

A couple of years ago Blunkett said there was "no obvious upper limit on immigration" while Prescott was busying himself building hundreds of thouands of homes in England to house everyone. Maybe they think more immigrants = more potential labour voters.

I don't think it does 'play into the hands of extremists', rather that it is a good thing that these matters are now being openly discussed. Everyone gets to hear everyone else's opinions (whether they agree with them or not).
Come on, over the veil thing, there are quite a number of muslims recorded as saying 'it's not right' or even 'not necessary'.
It wasn't so long ago that no one would have dared question things like wearing a veil whilst teaching children how to speak.

Ditto ajs. Not only do we have to contend with this government making a pigs ear of immigration, but yesterday Cameron put his pennyworth in, saying that we need more!! I am interested to know if anyone out there has the remotest idea who we could vote in to deal with it. Why is it that that the elected men & women seem to be on a different wave length to 90% of the indiginous population. They surely need a wake up call.
Ok yerbamate I take your point, but where does extremism end. Someone beats you up, you go back with a knife, they come back with a gun etc etc. All the time its the pawns that are fodder. Its very rarely that the high heid yins are really involved with the day to day violence. Its the normal day to day people who are getting slaughtered for one reason or another. Let the high heid yins fight it out one to one, rather than manipulate their fire ins, who will just be replaced by another fire in and so on and so on.
On another point I personally dont like talking to someone with dark glasses on, where I cant see their eyes, again personally, I wouldnt like to talk to someone, were all I could see are the eyes...imagine should they choose to wear both...think about it?? only my personal views.
