i thought i'd go for the safe bet and post this in here...
I have been invited to Warwick University to go to a Halloween Ball by one of my friends, but i don't really know what to go dressed as.. does anyone have any ideas? Because i'm not sure whether it will be a full on halloween type thing with everyone dressed as vampires & the like, or whether people will be dressed as really random things like film stars and such like..
anyone got any ideas??

How about a fly - long black dress, pair of fairy wings and some of those wobbly ball things on a hair band. You'll look quite elegant and slightly halloweeny. I'm assuming MISSjeff you are a girl but if not what the hey - it'll still work lol!

paint your face black with boot polish, fill your mouth with custard. when someone asks , splurge the custard out and say 'blackhead' urrrgh!!
my son finds this one highly amusing.

failing that, try going as a female vampire. that way if it's famous people you claim to be chistopher (christine ) lee

Go as a black cat. Dress all in black, make a tail (I think I once made one out of tights) and either draw whiskers on your face or see if you can get a cat mask.
