Arresting, charging and putting into prison in days ... sounds like an appropriate set of measures for rioters that challenge democracy and the rule of law itself. I am sure that if it happened to something more tame, like someone gluing themselves to a motorway, that many here would applaud (and have in the recent past). Well, the principle is the principle - don't challenge the rule of law, or be ready to feel the consequences.
