E-mails are often dealt with by staff so I'm unsure why his constituents aren't receiving a reply. (They did check the spam folder didn't they ?)
Furthering his own interests, or concentrating on our nation's interests ? Each MP decides for themselves how much of their time to allocate to each task. And party leaders do have more on their plate than others.
