Ba Economy

The cabin bag size says 25x45x56cms. My small case is 33x20x46+5cms with feet. I've waited 20minutes on the phone to BA  to get a bad line. Had to conclude it. Will this case be ok ?. What's a personel item to fit under seat I have a very small holdall with strap is that OK?

Small personal item. Hand bag, lap top or IPad case. Small backpack etc

I have travelled many times with BA in economy & yet to have any of my hand luggage measured. Most hand luggage goes under the seat in front or the bins above.

I've even seen passengers with suitcase size luggage on the plane & wonder how they managed that!!!

BA says in ascending order of size 25 x 45 x 56

Put yours the same 20 x 33 x 51 max. What is the problem, yours is smaller on every dimension.

I assume you haven't flown before, the room under the seat in front is as calmk says, woman's handbag etc.

When I've flown with BA, I've used a case that fits their dimensions and a rucksack.  The case goes in the locker and the rucksack goes under the seat.

Last time I flew BA (San Francisco) I don't remember anything about luggage...but I do remember that we were upgraded (without asking) and had a fine old time eating and drinking!
