Keep getting logged out again so apologies if you get a morning post from me twice!

Am in hotel ready for conrpference to start at 10am. Joined a few downstairs in lounge area for 'drinks' lastnight but I was only one not actually drinking alcohol and got a tad fed up of heating 'oh just have the one,let your hair down' so cane back to my room after about an hour lol.

Looks  a beautiful sunny day outside - what's everyone up to today?? x

Morning Barry - yes hotel room is nice and big.

Gave  alcohol about 6 months ago - I love it but it doesn't love me. Whether it's down to medication I'm on, or painkillers etc I don't know , but if I drink at all then I'm really sick the nxt  morning and with a blinding headache, no matter how much or little Ive drank, and ai just can't cope with it, so don't touch it at all now. But it's amazing as soon as you say you don't drink the amount of people who try and get you to!

Good morning all.

It's coldish here in Belfast this morning and I've got the heat on for the first time this autumn.

Is it officially autumn yet?

Nothing special planned, a taxi to Tesco for a bit of shopping, a look at the crossword, and a coffee in the local cafe.

Morning each.
A lot cooler here today, just 15C at the moment. Having said that it's a nice bright morning none the less.
A very elderly god botherer at my door first thing, poor old bloke must have been at least 90. He ought to be home with his feet up - not traipsing the streets knocking on doors.
When are you due to travel home Smow?
Not sure if I want to be going out at all today, maybe just sit and knit.
