There will always be some in any country (familly, friends, business), most will be out of harms way 99.99% of the time but when things heat up they advise them to get out. 

Problem is some still dont then expect us to send people into a dangerous country to get them out.

Beirut was really good sixties and seventies - and yes people did go / retire there

Mohd Fayed means that TTT  routinely sligs off Egyptians, whereas I have only found them friendly and  helpful ( not Arab but Pharaonic, see?)

Perhaps he shd get out more
