Because iron bars make a better prison cell.

@16.23.That made me laugh Canary.I needed cheering up.

I thought for one happy moment that they'd actually been sentenced to ten years.  Shame.

The paintings are behind protective glass, the report says they are undamaged.

As they are undamaged can the protesters be charged with criminal damage?

Who cares barry.

I believe I heard that the frame was damaged.

Not 10 years then. 15 maybe ?

What I don't understand is why they were unglued. Wouldn't they make a modern art exhibit, trying to get away to a toilet and a good meal ?

If one can be jailed for posting on X, (currently known as twitter), then 10 years seems about right.

Going forward.

I had substituted an 'a' for the 'i', hence the 'currently'.

Never mind.

It gives a warm glow that these people are being jailed, and it pleases me immensely that when they are jailed the JSO lunatics moan about it.

I genuinely hope them being jailed ruins their lives.

Lets hope it ruins their upper-middle class parents social life also DD."How is little Phoebe doing now,is she settling in at uni?"..."err,no,at present she is in isolation at Durham prison being protected from the lesbians in d-wing".

It has to be jail now or more accusations of a two tiered justice system.

I look forward to their sentence.
