Cardigans - Love Them Or Loathe Them?

Someone on television was ridiculed for wearing a cardigan and that got me thinking.  I like cardigans - on they provide a speedy warm up - off they provide a speedy cool down - so what's wrong with cardigans?

I have a couple which I wear over a blouse when going out. 

In fact a couple of xmases ago I bought one for my elderly neighbour who is in her 90's & she actually gave it back to me saying she hated them. So swopped it for a jumper!!!

Not a cardigan but what do you call a woollen top with a V neck and no sleeves?  I can't remember for sure but I think male or female makes no difference.

I'm wearing one now, it's beige, small raised collar, with a zip fastening (open at the mo.).

It's French and was given to me by a friend in Paris when I was travelling without warm clothing and the weather turned suddenly cold.

I've a couple but it's been a while since I wore them.  I'm not sure if they'd still fit.

I love cardigans and have no end of them!  I've got long, short, light, chunky, dressy, hippy style, smart, twin-set, hooded and probably others.

It was the in thing back in the day to turn your cardigan round so that it was back to front. Then it looked like a snug fitting jumper .

I only ever had one cardigan. Wore it once and that was enough! No thanks! Mrs Clarion wasn't very happy but hey ho! 😉

I think cardigans look better on women but I do love my Aran cardigan with wooden buttons.  It must be 25 years old and I've ordered a new one because it is far too big for me now.

I don't own a single cardigan, what I have are hoodies with a zip up the front, and pockets, so to all purposes shape wise I guess they are like a Cardi  in taking them on and off with ease, but they are make from sweatshirt material and have a zip instead of buttons.
