I've sometimes looked out, to see spectacles like this, but I've never seen one. Maybe I haven't the patience to wait and watch.

I saw some lovely sights in France. Where we are the village lights all pop off at 2200 hours and the sky in August or whatever is always clear and cloudless; unlike my eyes, which are now incapable of seeing in the dark. All I have left is memories, of shooting stars and the lovely veil of the Milky Way hanging all along the  village high street.
