The Wheel, should be called The Sob Story Wheel, every contestant has a sob story!

I agree, don't mind 'the Wheel' either way but it does seem that no one gets on any TV show without a story.

Never seen it. I find McIntyre as entertaining as a case of gonorrhonea.

As a stand up comedian I agree Mozz. However he is strangely entertaining in this.

As a gameshow format I don't like it and I don't enjoy watching it but I know what you mean about the contestants.

Although I love quizzes and Michael M I don't watch it all. I put my glasses on to look at the question and possible  answers for the few times a quiz q is asked. I don't hear the sob stories.

Bring back The Wall with Danny Dyer!

Drivel. Avoid.

Maybe some viewers feel jealous of those baring their souls on TV as their own spraffed-about woes pale into insignificance when stood side by side.

Maybe they don't enjoy plump men with slightly oriental features constantly shouting at them in their own homes.

Maybe folk just outgrow this kind of stuff.

Or maybe it gets viewed because elsewhere is just repeats, these days 'another chance to see'.

As soon as I hear a sob story, my support for them evaporates.

I've only seen bits of it and that's more than enough.  Like Dave, the minute they go into sob stories I switch off.  That's the reason I  stopped watching X-Factor.

"it's bent anyway".

That was your personal (misguided) opinion.

Everything is on tv nowadays, always downsides never up
