I'm going to buy a copy of the Beano this weekend - just for old times sake.   I don't imagine the characters are nearly as naughty - or as funny - as they used to be - probably not allowed to be now - but I'll have a look anyway.

Any comics you would like to re-visit?

Oor Wullie and The Broons are still going in the Sunday Post.

I liked The Eagle, Dan Dare against The Mekons. The Hotspur and The Rover were others I'd read.

Cor, Dandy, Whizzer & Chips, Beano and Victor. I've still have the annuals from the 60s-70s. Wasn't a fan of Topper or Beezer tho! I think I'll dig them out tomorrow for a bit of nostalgia :)

I remember my first 'fnaaar' moment on reading the Sunday Post column Seven Days Hard with Francis Gay.

Simpler times. 🙂
