“I have 10 spots available for anyone available to head to the battleground state of North Carolina — we will sort your housing,” she said in a midweek posting on LinkedIn.

Any takers?

I guess none of them ever watched Veep.

It's fine as long as they do not use public money and are going as labour party members not in any government capacity they may have.

Kamala Harris comes over as totally false to me,nobody laughs like that all the time.i.m.o.

I do, except on here of course, far too weighty and grave around these parts.

What The Funicular is a UK political party doing sending folk to try to influence the US election ? If you thought Labour had already hit rock bottom, you need to reconsider.

No it is not alright in any way.

It's probably as legal as the MP for Clacton campaigning for Trump...er sorry, I mean promoting Clacton on the world stage.

Why would it be illegal? Farage has made many trips to America supporting Trump

Obama came here to "interfere" in a vote - that went well.🙄

No, its not a problem so long as the provisos TTT has outlined are followed.

One does have to wonder what the reaction of the Democrats would be if Putin sent some volunteers for Trump though.  After all he knows how to win an election (which is what labour are claiming).

I've never understood why people are so interested in U.S politics, never mind the Presidential Election.

"I've never understood why people are so interested in U.S politics, never mind the Presidential Election."

Nor me, 10CS.

We've had nightly bulletins throughout the summer, telling us where the latest attempt to shoot Mr Trump took place and what Kamala Harris had for dinner.

Their "hustings" take on the mood of a pop concert with fans whooping and cheering as soon as their candidate opens their mouth. It's a complete joke which I don't find at all funny and which, after a day or  two, becomes very stale.

The event is a one-liner for us in the UK. Just tell us the result as soon as it's known - job done. Then we can concentrate on our own government's latest attempts to balls up everything they come into contact with. (Note: that's not a party thing - I'm talking about governments of every persuasion).

The article states that the Labour Party is sending nearly 100 members to US. So it is clearly being claimed to be done in a government capacity.

Anything to do with US politics or if Trumps mug appears in front of me, the remote control is reached for. You could well mistake their get togethers as being a new years eve bash.

Maybe it's a deliberate tit for tat for Obama's attempted interference.

Trouble is, if it was, they'd be routing for the wrong candidate, perhaps they're trying to encourage more of it instead.
