My doc said to buy + 75 reader glasses
do they make such glasses or is it suppose to be 1.75 glasses

I would have thought it was 1.75
Perhaps when you get the correct specs you will post in the correct section, LOL.
Spectacles of +75 diopters do not exist. +1.75 glasses
are common for folks with slight hypermetropia (long sightedness) esp. for reading. These can be bought 'off the shelf ' very cheaply. Personally, I'd go for a +2 pair, as there is hardly any difference.
My apologies to any optician with an eye for business.
I suppose it could be construed as one of those ambiguous interpretations.
+75 meaning magnify by 75%, which is the same as 1.75 specs.
