Yes.  There are lots of rice cooker cookery books with different recipes for your rice cooker.

Search for rice cooker recipes and you'll find lots of recipes with added veg 

When adding anything to the mix bear in mind that there's not mushroom inside.

I cook my rice to perfection in a microwave. (1 part rice plus 1.5 parts water. Add some butter or oil and any flavourings I want.

Microwave on full for 13 mins, fluff with fork and leave. Give a further 50seconds before serving.

sandy is using a rice cooker, not a microwave.

I cook rice in a microwave but I find the ratio of water to rice depends on the type of rice.  Some types of rice needs more water
