Ofcom has fined GB News  "£100,000 for breaking impartiality rules with a programme featuring the former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. It seems Selected members of the public were invited to listen to Sunaks uncontested platform to promote the policies and performance of his then Govt in a special Q&A  session in a period just preceding the UK,GE,, Wonder which political party the audience supported. lol.

The BBC is far more impartial than GB News. Just look at the Question Time audiences over the last few years. Ah., forget that.

You need to work out the difference between a broadly right if centre thinking channel ( and let's face it there has been a gap in the market there) and a site run by a political party. Mogg& Farage don't run it...they are just given shows. David Lammy used to be on LBC but it didn't make it Labour run.

Does anyone know what happens to the hundred grand? because if Ofcom are also going to trouser large sums from the MSM such as Sky and the Beeb, someone is going to get very rich.

Probly not applicable here but it does puzzle me when public bodies get huge "fines" - who pays? The customers & the taxpayers!
