On looking in my Guinness Book of British Hit Singles, it appears EBTG *did* record this song in 1993, when it reached only number 72 in the charts And it *is* the same song (see lyrics here http://www.inlyrics.com/lyrics/E/Everything%20But%20The%20Gi rl/150435.html )but I think the version most people remember is by Karen Ramirez. Cooo, I'm glad I got this book for Christmas - it's really useful!!! :-)
