Christmas In The Good Old Days
ChatterBank0 min ago
I mean Christmas.
Have you started thinking about it, food related, yet, or do you leave it till later, or dash out last minute to see what's left, have a plan, don't bother as you always go out, have a freezer full of everything you could possibly want for the big day, ignore it all and have beans on toast or similar.
Tell us all what you do, or don't do. Being serious, I'm really interested how everyone deals with this over indulgent fest 🧑🎄

We're by ourselves this year, it's a double edged sword for me to be honest. I've got to an age where the whole faff of cooking, cleaning, tidying up after everyone, etc., has become too much. But I miss having the family here too.
We're doing a couple of pre Christmas trips the length and breadth of the country to see everyone over the next few weeks. On the day we will indulge ourselves eating, drinking and telly watching whatever we want, and no doubt a few FaceTimes with the family.
We have contemplated having Christmas dinner out somewhere but there's nowhere within walking distance I'd choose to go. And I love the leftovers which we wouldn't have if we ate out.
Must put the sprouts on today, hate them if they're undercooked 🥬, thanks for the reminder Maydup 😉
