I gave up trying to make sense of what cats do ages ago. (They're far more intelligent than us!).
I've just tried to trick my lot into eating some luxury fishy food with crushed up flea treatment tablets on top of it but they were having none of it. (So that's another fiver's worth of tablets wasted then!). I'll probably have to cook some chicken in a cheese sauce for them and try to hide the tablets in that. (It's worked before but that's no guarantee that it'll work again!).

Still a lot of fireworks contuing to be let off round here, which has been almost every night for a week. Don't know how pets are coping. My son's dog hates them and gets very upset. Hope the kitties have not been too badly affected by them.

It'll probably be quite a battle to get the flea tablets into my three but at least it's easier for me, and far less stressful for them, than attempting to use 'spot on' treatments on their necks. (Neither Chequers nor Moonbeam show any signs of having fleas to the moment, which is unusual as Moonbeam seems to have been a magnet for fleas all of his life. However, although I've not seen any fleas on her, Tablo's coat doesn't seem to be at its best at the moment. So it's really her that I'm tryin to get the tablets into).
'Special' shopping? I started that in Pets at Home yesterday 😊

We've had very few fireworks around here. (We used to have a big public display near my house every year, which terrified my lot, but new houses have been built near to the display site since then, forcing the permanent cancellation of the event). The Troublesome Trio have hardly noticed any fireworks, thankfully.
