Blue Rinse

Hi folks, I didn't know where to put this question. does anyone know why some old women have a blue rinse. do they think is looks natural. why not red. at least then it would have some street cred. even a nice rich blue would be better. or even better why not just leave it grey or dye it blonde or brown. this is a serious question. ta

Now shes opts for the natural look which is that kind of blondey colour (like Easther Ranzten or Denise from This Morning). Dunno whether she dyes it or not, I don't think so, but I have always wondered about that.

Actually, Mrs. C's hairdresser says it is a diluted form of a blue dye applied to older women whose hair has turned primarily white (as opposed to grey) and the whiteness can appear yellowish in some light. the application of the diluted blue is supposed to make the white hair look more white... sort of blue-white. Problem is, if it's not applied professionally it can have an overt blue tint... or worse...
