whats the best saturday morning programme, i grew up with tiswas and swap shop, but think the best has to be smtv, with ant and dec great hangover t.v.

I loved Tiswas, but my mum thought it was a bad influence so I had to watch Swap Shop (which wasn't bad). If ever she wasn't around or went to wash her hair I would switch channels! my cousin was allowed to watch Tiswas so I liked going over there every once in a while.

I have to admit that when I was a young teen I liked 'No 73'....The Sandwich Quiz was ace :o)

Blimey, apparently the Phantom Flan Flinger was originally played by Jim Davidson! (Later it was Tarrant's taxi driver mate Bennie Mills - you'll never guess who I had in the front of the cab the other day...)

The original ATV title was 'Today Is Saturday or the Tis-Was Show'. Tarrant always referred to it as Watch And Suffer.
