made redundant twice from same company in 4 weeks
3 Answers
I was made redundant offered xxxx amount of redundancy pay in writing. I was then offered a lower paid job on part time basis with a contract to come shortly, none did. Now four weeks later I have been made redundant from this lower paid post and been given a lower redundancy payment of xx amount. Is this legally right, can I have any recourse to claim the full amount previously offered from my normal,
old job?

There should be no problem in claiming your redundency based on the lengh of time of your first job there. Since the second job is part time for a couple of weeks it will have a negligable effect on your redundancy claim. The company cant just do what they want and the second job dosent ngate theire legal responsibilities regarding the first job. Send off the redundancy form and Im sure things will be ok. Good luck.
