Or not so early, as was pointed out yesterday LOL! 
Dark and grey here - and according to the weather on tv late  lastnight it's going to really drop in temperature in nxt week. In other words it's going to be more like normal for November lol! The words 'frost and ice' were even mentioned!  What will we do - we are too used to it being mild.

Cannot believe it's Friday - where has this week gone?? I've only just remembered that I've got a CT scan tomorrow afternoon. Yes, on a Saturday. Didn't think they even did them on Saturdays! Hopefully won't be there too long.

Just sat here with cup of tea debating what to do for dinner this eve. One of MrSmows favourites is fresh burgers in buns, with grilled bacon, cheese, sliced tomatoes & lettuce, and chunky chips . Might do that!

Morning Smow - you cannot complain about the  cold with your AB name and avatar! :) I had a CT scan miles away 2 weeks ago on Sunday. It was quiet on the roads, in the multi-storey car park and the hospital. We were back in the car before my appointment time as we had arrived in good time. Brilliant. The radiologist didn't make me wait for recovery time as I have had multi scans with dye injections with no problems. Winner, winner.

So much to do today, I have been  adding to the list through the night. I hope to tick as many boxes as I can but it won't all get done - realism reigns. Have the best day you can.

Morning Smow and Choux.  No idea why but I'm tempted to make some chocolate eclairs.  Can't imagine what gave me that idea.  Must bob out for some cream and chocolate. 😁

It was cold last night when I went out last thing for my quick walk around the block.

Lol Barry. It was very cold when I brought my dustbin back up the drive at 07.30. I haven't put any rubbish out for 3 weeks so I made up for it last night! Enjoy your baking ;)

I dunno, I mean the melting butter bit to boiling point to make the pastry, not the baking.  I suppose it could be tricky to get the timing right

Sorry Bazile - just seen your question! Umm, a bit of both lol - I went to put Snowball as a username on another site and accidentally put Smowball & clicked enter! Couldn't change it so just kept it. So then when choosing a username for here I thought why not use  it again lol. 
( even tho Smowball wasn't my original name on here anyway! )

Morning all. Yesterday was a complete washout, literally. Torrential rain and extensive thunderstorm. Fortunately we still have power. Albufeira Old Town flooded though not as bad as Spain. Thunder rumbling now. Have a good day all

Ooh calmck - where do you live again? My friend has flown to Spain for a weeks holiday. First day was lovely and sunny, then yesterday they were given a weather warning and told to all stay in their apartments. Was really heavy rain. Not sure how the day ended tho!
