I wondered this - it used to be a lively arena.  I just tuned in to see if there were any posts: I think I can see the reason why.

The humanists are currently campaigning to remove bishops from the house of lords.  I will try to find a link to the petition.

I agree Naomi, there were a few who were capable of arguing their position effectively without personal attacks, insults, and being patronising.

 I think in the main it was all with good humour, Rowan.  It was rarely malicious - at least from the rergulars.  Very few fell out never to encounter one another in 'battle' again.  It's where the notion of custard pie throwing came from - and my avatar.
