Pomona, I think it's R, from the start of 'report' then Italian, dropping an 'a' ('needing a').

Professor Plum, it's rather an odd-looking word, relating to the casting off of skin in reptiles. I didn't know that the resulting noun was defined (in Chambers) as a striptease performer.
