Rover radio code required please

rover 414sli L reg. type no. for radie is 22 DC652/60E. RG Part No: XQD 10056. Can anyone help please with the radio code? Thought I had the right one, but it doesn't work!! I tried the one that the owner had written in the book, however as stated it is not accepting it!! All I get is the beep when entered. The engine is turned on, I have followed the instructions each time. Thank you in anticipation.

Update to the above question, when I say the owner had written in the book, I meant the previous owner. Car purchased from him & we found that the radio's fuse had blown, since then we've tried the code that the original owner had put but to no avail, we just get the dreaded loud beep...
I would appreciate it if someone could supply this code, as I don't mean to be a cheapskate, but sometimes needs must, & you need to ask for a freebie sometimes...
