Recession Risk As Britain Reels From Reeves’s Budget ?
Economists have sounded the alarm over a UK recession after data showed Britain’s economy was reeling from the effects of Rachel Reeves’s tax-raising Budget.
Britain is now “close to stagnation” after closely watched PMI figures showed activity among the UK’s private sector companies shrank for the first time in more than a year in November.
Sterling dropped to its lowest against the dollar since May and banking stocks plunged on Friday. Economists said they were “more worried” that Britain’s performance might not be as good as previous forecasts.

The thing that irritates the bejesus out of me about politicians in general, but this shower are taking it to a new level, is that they spout crap that is clearly untrue but such is their disrespect for the electorate is that they expect people to swallow it and yet anybody with half a brain knows they are talking cobblers (other than two on this board who believe everything they are told - we know who they are, although they're too daft to know it's them).
when you see labour front benchers in interviews, they always look like they are in a cult, looking up or away like they can see invisible people or on the drug of socialism, straight questions always get deflected, like used cars salesmen when you ask about that engine noise, is it the transmission.
