Well that's more than the required 100,000.

"A petition on Parliament's website accusing Labour of breaking promises and calling for a new general election has gathered more than two million signatures - the third highest since 2010."

Is 2.3 million not more than two million??????

oh that is a good idea - why dont we have a Brexit re-run ?

I bet no one has thought of that before!

there was a white house petition to deport Piers Moron

the WH news secretary sniffed that these things are not to be joked about

//why dont we have a Brexit re-run ?//

Yes why don't we? Rejoin would lose of course!😂

TTT, you would think someone of your intelligence would actually read the link you post, and maybe understand it.
The 100000 is referring to what is needed for a debate to be considered.

yes but BBC makes it seem that only 10,000  (and some) have signed - ignoring the true scale of it.

100,000

DAVEBRO, the BBC report states,"more than two million signatures" in the second sentence and the figure of 100,000 is mentioned later.

This is what the article says

"A petition on Parliament's website accusing Labour of breaking promises and calling for a new general election has gathered more than two million signatures - the third highest since 2010.

The petition has got more than 100,000 signatures, so the subject is likely to be debated in Parliament, but would not trigger a new election."

Starmer's answer to this is that not everyone voted Labour and so would like another election.  Is he stupid enough to think that no Labour voters took part in this petition.

Yes, he is a sociopath.

It is quite clear to anyone with a reasonable grasp of the English language that the article says that it is 2.3 million.
