are people finally realising that electric cars are not viable for most? They are great if you live near work and never go very far but the infrastructure is still a joke if you are proper road user.

Have we reached the point where those that were ever going to buy in have now done so?

19:08 just wind your neck in and stop being so cantankerous. In a discussion it is normal to address points raised I am just doing that. Your rude and confrotational approach is not helping.

Like i said its only cantankerous when you cant enforce you view on others. Plus pot and kettle eh?

//Be careful OG and tomus 42 you will be seen as cantankerous for having a different view than TTT. you going to buy one then TTT ?//

I was agreeing with him. They're currently impractical for most people.

Not only electric vehicles but the whole net zero ideology.

I can recall a time when we were being urged to check our cars over for extra weight as this would help to improve the car's performance. "Look in the boot and discard all the things you do not need to carry"

Now apparently, it it good to carry around a great heavy battery whilst using your petrol engine. Or a spare petrol engine while running electric!

Neither mode can be efficient.
