Maybe people celebrating Diwali? Or another festival? It's not just Guy Fawkes night. But they can be dreadfully irritating tthough, they start setting them off before it's dark here, which seems a bit pointless, and carry on all night for weeks. I wouldn't mind, but my little dog is a wreck.

This drives me mad fruitsalad! Last Saturday we had them going off all afternoon!! In the daylight!!! Grrrr....
We had some go off just above our house last night, bit too close for my liking.
I noticed Morrisons's and a lot of other shops are selling the fireworks buy one get one free, so that's double the fireworks for them!!!

For anyone with dogs in the fireworks season....placing them in a room with the TV on a medium volume works very well

Don't you believe it LOT, I've even resorted to playing music full blast in an effort ot drown out the fireworks for my dog- still doesn't work.
