Best time to Holiday in Orlando
7 Answers
My boyfriend and I are planning a trip to Orlando, Florida sometime next year (no little ones - just us two big kids).
The first weeks of the year and end of April seem to be the cheapest weeks - is there a reason why?
I just need to know what are the best/worst times of the year to go.

The summer months are the hot a rainy season - very hot and humid (and busy) but almost guranteed thunderstorms every day.
The drier months i have mentioned are nice because it's hot still (boiling hot if you get a good week) but dry and there's less queuing as it's classed as out of season.
Have a great time

There's a travelodge at the top of internation drive which is cheap and cheerful and is straight opposite wet and wild almost. If you get a pass (can't remember the name) which gives you unlimited entry into SeaWorld, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Wet and Wild, you can go in Wet and Wild at the end of every day if you have a bit of spare time and it's better than just going round your own pool.
It's also good for Lynx buses and I-Trolley buses which run up and down International Drive and as they get pretty full and as the stop you would get on at is at the top of I-Drive you get on before it goes to all the other stops and fills up.

We always go the first 2 weeks in June .. great weather with the occasional storm (great to watch !)
We stay on I - Drive ..if you're not driving there is a bus that picks you up at the hotel to take you to the parks :o)
have a look here http://www.askdaisy.net/orlando/ and buy the book :o)

Kissimmee is far less "bucket n spade" than International Drive...so many English Bars u cud be in Blackpool , but with better weather!( not that there is anything wrong with Blckpool!!)
U may find a villa a better option, but wud recommend car hire...Alamo usually the cheapest. That way, you can do the parks and sights then relax around your own pool without hundreds of screaming saucepans, overought with too much Disney!! Skinny dippin in the pool at midnight, whilst yamming ya way thru a veery large bucket of ice cream! MMMmm!!
