Bbc Quiz : Week 48
Hi, all!
Another lousy week for me in the main quiz, with just TWO out of seven this time around:

I did a bit better in the junior version though, with FOUR out of five:

My scores tonight are 6/7, 4/5 yay!!
Very pleased with these tonight and yes there were plenty of guesses.
Your big quiz idea sounds amazing, so I will look out for it in the coming weeks if you decide to go ahead.
Been out most of day bagging all the bargains, so feeling very pleased that I have made a huge dent in the gift/present shopping. Might even be almost there and can probably get away with shopping for the rest online from the comfort of my sofa (possibly with a glass of Bailey's).
Treated myself to a beautiful orchid that was on offer. Just hope I can keep it alive at least for a little while as I am not so good with indoor plants. Someone suggested they like cold tea, so I may give it a try.
Been spending more time with my beautiful baby granddaughter and my grandpup which has been fantastic. Looking forward to her first Christmas and will have to try not to spoil her too much!
Found a lovely doggy advent calendar this year. I am sure Chequers, Moonbeam and Tablo will be getting spoilt as always with delicious treats.
Wishing you and the kitties a wonderful week ahead :-)
Hi, Karamia!
Thanks for your lovely post and well done on matching Ken at the very top of the leader board this week!
I really must try to get my Christmas shopping started this weekend! (I definitely like your idea of doing it from home, with a glass of something nice to hand, though!).
It's our local Christmas Street Fayre on Sunday:

I might buy something there although, being realistic, I'm probably far more likely to be found enjoying the entertainment (and a glass or two of something nice, of course) in our Community Centre (or in one of our 5 pubs!)
I'm glad that you're still getting plenty of time with the little ones (both human and canine!).
As you suggest, Chequers, Moonbeam and Tablo are still getting loads of treats (and still wanting to know why they can't have even more of them, of course!).
We all hope that you'll have a lovely week. (I'll probably post a link to the big quiz next Friday).
Perhaps the advice given here will help you keep your orchid in good shape?
Hi, Campbellking!
Well done on being a perfect kid this week!
It's good to read that Puss Puss and Bailey are doing their duty by keeping you warm in bed!
Moonbeam still likes to sleep downstairs which, as I only heat my bedroom (where I base myself nearly all of the time these days), means that he must get quite cold. However he's now sleeping curled in a nice cosy little cat bed indoors, which is far better than years gone by, when (even if the temperature was well below zero) he'd insist on sleeping outdoors. He's also got a gorgeously thick coat of fur to help keep him warm too.
At night, Tablo alternates between sleeping under the covers with me or sleeping on top of them (on either my hip or my shoulder). Chequers alternates between sleeping on a chair or snuggling up, on top of the covers, next to me.
We all hope that you, Puss Puss and Bailey will have a great week!
