Armchair thriller

I've argued for years with people that the theme tune for this was very similar/the same as Emmerdale. Please prove me right!!

Bernardo Theme tune for Armchair Thriller!! Series years ago where the opening credits had an armchair with a shadow in it and the fingers stretched down over the arm! Ring any bells?

Oh! When you said "Armchair thriller" I thought you meant in the generic sense of the word (i.e. small t instead of capital T) :-)

well, it is a little similar I suppose - one nugget of trivia for you is that it was written by Andy MAckay out of the rock group ROXY MUSIC. I have avideo of Quiet As a nun which was the most successful ARmchair thriller and am looking for the other episodes. Used to scare me as a kid that program, although can think why looking at it now!!
