Words of Matthew Parris on Radio 4 this morning talking of Jacob Rees Mogg.

JRM has made money but without blue blood can he really be considered posh?

And will Parris' insult be considered good enough to be remembered?

JRM's dad was editor of the top people's newspaper, 'The Times'.  Now that's really posh!

Probably not. JRM is far posher than many with 'blue blood'.

Surely the insult is to Barmen/Bartenders? Do you think it's good because it knocks JRM?

Jacob Rees Mogg has successfully used this posh, fuddy-duddy, Edwardian country house owner image to advance his career.

Hiding behind this carefully maniculed image are some pretty unpleasant right wing view

JRM has been quoted as saying he would buy double-breasted pyjamas, but can't find any

His Saville Row tailor could run him up a few sets.

He's a character aint he that old JRM - I quite like him really.😀

my uncle was meant to marry his cousin - but she ended up marrying a 'male barmaid' ( 1920 ) instead

she died in childbirth and he kinda abandoned the child.
