Good Morning Friday 13Th Birds!
Damp and dark here. MrSmow has just left to catch the train to an all day meeting with all staff, followed this evening by their Christmas meal. Then because of distance etc he is staying overnight and won't be home till tomorrow, so it's dinner for one and the tv all to myself this evening lol!
Managed to get quite a bit of wrapping done yesterday, think I'll be able to take a couple of the parcels to be actually posted today, tho I may get R.M to pick them up if I book online. I've used this many times and it's pretty good, plus saves me lugging boxes in car, trying to park, queuing up etc.....
So what's everyone doing on this Friday 13th!?; )

He nearly fell through the floor when they said £20. Posted them on way down to Village Street Fayre, which was heaving. Lots of stalls, most of shops stayed open, Estate Agent held Santa's Grotto. Fantatic saxophonist playing jazz. Overall, better than the Christmas market in town.
Very drab here, TV forecast just said is any sun comes out today it will be here, so fingers crossed.
Enjoy your evening with the remote control, no-one to moan about what you are watching.!!
Good morning Smow, braving the local Asda today, goodness knows how long it will take to get there as it is on the way to town. Traffic is reported as "heavy" so will wait until about 11am. Hopefully I will only need to do one supermarket shop prior to Xmas. Gave up shopping on line when I got one order with more substitutes than the items I had ordered.
Going to the library today, and as you can take 10 books out that should see me over xmas. I have a kindle but I can't get the hang of it. Also I find it very hard to read in bed where I do most of my reading.
I wish my postal service was as good as Barry's. I discovered speaking to the postman that they only deliver three times a week round here. Are we in the country? No, the suburbs of Wolverhampton. Amazon is more efficient than the post round here, at least it delivers every day.
