My Christmas pudding cloth has developed a whole while hanging. How can I reboil it on Christmas Day so that eater doesn't get in.

You could steam in a basin with greaseproof paper directly on the top of the pudding. Tie a double layer of foil over the bowl, remembering to put the pleat in the middle.

wOr there is still plenty of time to buy new pudding cloths, they are cheap enough
