Bad News For Waspi Women

The Parliamentary & Health Service Ombudsman recommended compensatary payouts to the women affected by the changes in pension - the government and DWP have decided to ignore it.

What is the point of the Ombudsman if the governing bodies can choose to ignore them?

There may be something in that miffy (sorry your name is on last page and I can never remember how to spell it), but to be fair The Tories were against paying for it too. 

I wonder if this bill that won't now be paid was included in the 22 billion black hole figure.

Labour, as soon as they were elected, also scrapped the lifetime cap on care costs that was due to come in in 2025.

 

If they do care about the old, they're demonstrating it in a very peculiar way.
