Good morning! Well I survived last nights supermarket trip with MrSmow, tho I think he was stunned at the bill lol. We got to till and I asked him to guess what the total might be just for fun. He guessed an amount, I laughed and said what I thought. Bearing in mind this was a pretty big shop, we unloaded all at till &  I was £8 out. Cashier said well done & said to him you can tell who does the shopping! He was 50% out!

So what's everyone's plans? I've got 3 items to get in post today and that's everything urgent sorted. Any other wrapping is for people here that won't need it till Xmas day...

All presents wrapped and sent that needed to be.

I don't think we are bothering to wrap what we have bought each other!

We need to do some grocery shopping but that is about it.

Morning all. The weather has changed from cloudy to sunny to chucking it down all in the space of 15 minutes. British weather eh? We are having the sitting room windows reglazed this morning so hoping for as little of the wet stuff as possible, fat chance ....

We have only got to do cards for fellow villagers, so nothing too heavy.

We went to a nearby Sainsburys, and they were already starting to reduce a lot of their items in the Xmas aisle, such as decorations, stars for on top of the tree, some toys n puzzles etc. Handy to put away for nxt year. They had these great little tree decorations which were pigs in blankets - literally tiny little piglets wrapped up in a blanket lol. Only about 2 inches high but so cute lol!

Well I've totted up what I've spent so far which doesn't include today's food shopping & I've spent £600 so far on presents & drink!!! 😳😳

So now off to finish food shopping.

I want to get everything done today. I'm fed up with looking at lists of things I need to do and buy.

Morning Cloverjo.... yep same here, it's stressing me out lol. So we think we're done food wise even tho new r going to in-laws we r still here Christmas  Eve, Boxing Day eve and rest of week..... just need to buy drinks/wine. I don't drink anymore so will find something nice!

Morning everyone. Raining here, but at least it isn't cold. Going to pick some odd things locally today and then I hope to not have to go out until Xmas is over. It seems to go on forever! (That's my Scrooge rant for today! )

Some of the outside lights and decorations round here are lovely, don't understand where they get the electric from, as I wouldn't fancy going to bed leaving a window open to get a wire into the indoor electric. I have an electric socket outside at the back, but not at the front.

Got my xmas Radio Times, and going to sit with a coffee, seeing what is on, especially the films.
