One of the most popular songs this festive season is Freezing This Christmas by Sir Starmer And The Granny Harmers,has anyone heard it on any of the BBC radio channels.Maybe,i missed it?

I've not heard it but seen it's at number thirty-seven in the official charts.

I thought you would have downloaded it a fair few times to increase its chances of being Number One.

I agree with Buenchico, the talk of it being chart topping was exaggerated- usually based on one channel of sales. Old favourites like Wham, Brenda Lee, Shakin' Stevens, Mariah Carey, The Pogues , etc are outselling it.

Still, it's a good cover. Sounds like they used the original backing track.

The Telegraph posted, "Freezing This Christmas racks up just over 14,000 sales in a few weeks but is pipped to top slot by Wham!"

It was, "pipped" by thirty-five other songs so it was hardly close.

Mind you,i havent heard that two English singers song-"Fairytale Of New York"...Thank God for that.

Shane McGowan  is Irish isn't he? Dublin born?
