If You Could Live In Another Decade, What Would It Be?

If you could go back to a particular period of time or decade where would you travel back to?

 

Personally I would travel back to my childhood of roughly aged 10 to 20 if I had to pick a decade.

Which would have been 1979 to 1989.. 

But to be honest I had a fabulous childhood, so its probably also 1974 to 84 in terms of decades. 

I actually am old enough to remember the blazing hot summer of 76, I was 7 years old but remember it well. It was like living in Spain all summer. 

So if you could turn back time, where would you go?

50s  to  mid 60s

I think I'd go from mid 60s to mid 70s.  Growing up, travelling by trains to see The Beatles, feeling safe out at night, marrying, training to teach and doing so, then the birth of my elder daughter.

So much energy, so many opportunities - even a baby didn't stop us.  Yes, Summer '75 was hot ( I was preggers) and '76 presented problems keeping baby safe, but I have treasured photos and memories.
